is now over 3 years that I use with my Roomba purchased pleasure at the time used on Ebay.
It has a 110V power supply and it had therefore been necessary to buy a small voltage converter to use it at home in France on the 220.
Behold my power comes from giving up the ghost (the Roomba Power, not the voltage converter). Here's
CHARACTERISTICS:
- Fast Charger iRobot
- Model 10556
- Input: 120V 60Hz 33W
- Output: 22VDC 1.25A
Here the model chosen: http://cgi.ebay.fr/Alimentation-pc-portable-220V-et-voiture-AUTO-90W_W0QQitemZ250497783427QQihZ015QQcategoryZ123916QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
The output voltage can be adjusted simply by pressing a button. For my roomba I just have to settle on 22V (I 'Do not operate the dock, I connect directly to Roomba).
Benefits of this diet:
- I can also use it to power my laptop (with the tip adapted)
- It can also convert the 12V, so I can use it in the car on jack cigarette lighter to power my laptop
- She even has a USB plug which you can load all devices that load via USB, either at home or car.
- The intensity (in amperes A) that is able to supply power must be greater than that consumed Roomba. Otherwise food and does not grate. Choose a diet with a higher intensity is not a problem, roomba takes only what it needs.
- What matters is the tension: if roomba takes 22V, do not exceed this voltage (and not err by adjusting the voltage).
